Soler: "We are going to enjoy the victory and the holidays"
On his 200th appearance for Valencia CF, Carlos Soler scored a brace in the 3-4 derby win against Levante UD. The midfielder gave his thoughts on the result to VCF Media.
Several consecutive wins
We really wanted to get several wins in a row and we are doing it. Why shouldn't we get excited about this beautiful challenge? We were coming off a bad run. We had gone many games without winning and now we've gone many without losing -and getting victories along the way. We know that the challenge of being in Europe is difficult, but we are going to fight for it.
The comeback
We would have liked it not to be like that, because it's tough to have so many games in which we've had to fight back. We are not always going to have that success. We have to improve that, but we are going to enjoy the victory and the holidays.

His brace
In several games I'd had the chance to have a go from the second line, but hadn't shot. Today I saw the gap and it went in. That brace, together with Gonçalo's, gave us the victory.
200 official matches for Valencia CF
It is a huge joy. I would never have imagined reaching 200 games with my boyhood club. I am very happy and I will continue fighting so that there are many more games. Now it's time to enjoy the holidays, and a few days of rest will be good.
